Biography

George Rigden is an internationally touring stand-up
comedian and musical comedy performer with over a
decade of professional experience as a headline act.
Renowned for his highly interactive, persona-driven style,
George combines razor-sharp crowd work, character
comedy and original songs to create shows that are unique,
unpredictable and unforgettable. His ability to improvise
and build entire routines from audience interactions has
made him a favourite with comedy club and festival
audiences alike.
George has headlined throughout the UK, Australia, New
Zealand, Canada and the United States, establishing himself
as a versatile performer capable of commanding everything
from intimate comedy clubs to large festival crowds.
A seasoned festival act, he performed at five consecutive
editions of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and appeared at
the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2026.
Across more than eleven years on the international comedy
circuit, he has built a reputation for fearless audience
interaction, quick-fire improvisation and consistently
memorable live performances.
