Biography
Barnie has been making funny stuff since 2003, when he formed a theatre company with his best friend, (and legendary mime) Trygve Wakenshaw. These early days saw Barnie exploring the possibilities of physical comedy, which then morphed into an extended period mucking around with European clown and character comedy. In 2014 he moved to Melbourne, and spent 6 years there, embedding himself in the stand-up scene, honing a style of joke-telling that combines his physical abilities, absurdist tendencies and at times cutting social commentary. Above all he enjoys being playful onstage, so no two sets are ever the same.
