Biography
An award winning New Zealand Stand Up Comedian, Improviser and Actor, in 2023 Anthony Crum won ‘Best Debut’ alongside Bailey Poching in their critically acclaimed duo show ‘Hot Filthy Garbage’.
In 2020, Crum was a Classic Raw Comedy Finalist and In 2023 he featured on the successful live recorded show Kill Tony, while he toured shows in Austin Texas and Los Angeles. In 2023 and 2024 Anthony toured as an Emcee through Austria, Germany and Scandinavia.
Anthony is an accomplished Comedy Improvisor and Sketch Actor; he was a member of the Award winning Improv Troupe Snort in 2023, and featured in the YouTube sketches of Viva La Dirt League and on the show ‘My Favourite Dead Friend’. Crum is also a founding and current member of Improv/sketch group Bull Rush Improv – performing every Friday at Basement Theatre and which won the 2020 ‘Best Comedy’ in the Whangarei Fringe – as well as being nominated Best Comedy Troupe in the 2023 Guildies Awards.
Anthony is currently writing for New Zealand Comedy TV shows and can be seen performing at The Classic Comedy bar and venues around New Zealand.
